buildings, went on a funicular train, visited the thermal baths, had fancy desserts for phoebe’s birthday, and saw some amazing churches and the largest synagogue in europe. but mostly… we ate he created a glass box for a wax mask with candles lit underneath. throughout the night, while we had couscous, meatballs, beer, and great company, the mask slowly melted my bike to the train station, put my stuff in a locker, and then went to the zoo to see the the big cats (grote katten) and the hippos (nijlpaarden = nile horses) before catching the train to tilburg. the membership that colin got me for my birthday lets me go in an hour before the official opening time so it was a nice and peaceful start to the
